Monica Heartwood
Monica is a mother of two who came to birthwork through her own transformative birth and postpartum experiences. She is a full spectrum doula guided by the innate design of pregnancy, birth and postpartum and their specific support requirements. Monica supports women in discerning and following their own inner knowing to prepare for their most aligned birth, and in meeting the experience with openness and receptivity. She focuses on deeply nurturing the postpartum mother so that her energy can go to healing her own body, bonding with her baby, and integrating within her family system. Across all stages, nourishment, loving touch, and heartfelt presence define her work — she is there to listen, witness, and tend the mother. She provides grounded, gentle care so that mothers can move through the childbearing continuum in strength and coherence, and emerge in thriving health on the other side.
Schedule a Consultation
Choosing a doula is a personal decision. We offer complimentary consultations as a chance to connect, ask questions, and see if working together feels like a good fit.
